AEW secures the 3,700 m² Vertikum in Düsseldorf's city centre

Düsseldorf, 20 December 2023: AEW, one of the world's leading real estate investment and asset managers, announces the acquisition of Vertikum in Düsseldorf's city centre. The high-quality office property with retail on the ground floor was acquired for an institutional special fund mandate. The seller of the property is a joint venture between CONVALOR and Freudlieb.
The Vertikum was completed at the end of September 2023 and offers modern office space of approx. 3,700 m², which is fully let. Tenants include the consulting firm SMP, the law firm Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law and the technology company metrofibre. The retail space on the ground floor has been leased by Minotti, a leading Italian company for contemporary furniture.
The building has been awarded BREEAM certification "very good" and has over 45 bicycle parking spaces and charging stations for e-bikes. It is also connected to the district heating network and therefore has an efficient and environmentally friendly energy supply.
